Cities Advanced Visualization (Global Ranking)
We have conducted a detailed analysis and benchmarking of top cities globally by how sophisticatedly their industrial and economic activity is visualized, and how well their unique strengths are showcased.
Why is this important? For governments, inward investment arms, and many other bodies, successful execution of their objectives often depends on technologically up to date public presentation, and an ability to showcase their region’s strengths with a level of technological sophistication that matches their regional profile.
Interactive GeoMap: Top Regions by Visualization Sophistication
Dark blue: Represents regions with a high visualization score, indicating a high degree of sophisticated visualization and ergonomics on municipal websites or platforms.
Light blue: Shows regions with a low visualization score, indicating a lower degree of sophisticated visualization and ergonomics on municipal websites or platforms.
White: Represents regions that were not included in the analysis and owing to absence of municipal websites and platforms for evaluation.
Methodology
We conducted a thorough analysis of 50 countries and their municipalities, focusing on the presence of visualizations on their websites. Our approach included a detailed study of the presented data, analysis of their visual effectiveness and information content. As a result of this research, we have identified the best visualizations presented on the web resources of countries and their municipalities. These visualizations are not only accurate in conveying information, but also effective in their visual impact. Our analysis aims to identify best practices in data visualization, providing an important overview of the best solutions available on the global stage.
To obtain reliable and valid country rankings, we conducted a thorough, comprehensive data analysis covering various aspects and parameters of each country. Our methodology included an analysis of economic indicators, sociocultural factors, stability of the political situation, innovative development and other key aspects.
Our methodology included analysis of the visual effectiveness, readability, information content, and aesthetics of the data presented. We paid particular attention to the use of colour palettes, graph types, level of detail, and overall composition of the visualisations. This approach allowed us to highlight best practices and standards in the field of data visualisation.
Each site analyzed provided a unique perspective on the data, and we considered a variety of sources to make the assessment as objective as possible. Our experts, who have extensive experience in various fields, analyzed the collected data and provided ratings based on a scale of 0 to 5.
Based on our scores, we developed a mathematical model that weighs various factors according to their importance to a country's overall ranking. This model allowed us to create a more objective and balanced rating, reflecting the multifaceted nature of the development of each country.
As a result, our country rankings are the result of a thorough study combining qualitative data analysis, a mathematical model and expert assessment. We aimed to provide users with information that would be useful, objective and as accurate as possible in assessing various countries around the world.
